Accurate Sound, November 8, 2011 By Joe Durow (Madison, WI USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Polk Audio UltraFit 2000 Headphones - White/Orange (ULTRAFIT 2000ORG) (Electronics) I am not able to wear in-ear headphones, so I tried the over ear version of the new Polk's. Like most runners I'm in constant search mode for good headphones. These are now near the top of my list, replacing my PMX 100s which have connection problems too often. Sound is quite accurate, especially for the wide range of mp3's I listen to on the road. These don't give you the huge lower end, but that's a good thing in this case. The low end has nice punch, mid range and high end are recreated well, no low end 'fuzziness' in the way. Drums sound like drums, cymbals sound like cymbals, etc. Surprisingly good stereo soundfield for this kind of headphone. Reasonably comfortable, good enough to not cause any issues on longer runs so far. The cord and connections seem well made, only time will tell as they'll get some serious WI winter abuse soon.

Headphones are great, August 10, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Polk Audio UltraFit 2000 Headphones - White/Orange (ULTRAFIT 2000ORG) (Electronics) I really like these headphones. My last pair blocked too much noise so when running outside, I was unable to hear environmental noise. These sound great but let that noise in so I do not get run over by a car.. My only complaint is the length of the cord....sounds funny, but it is just too long. I have to wrap it around crap so it does not bounce around and irritate me when I am running. When will they create a set that is auto-retracting or something? However, they do sound great...
Better than ear buds and great for working out, June 17, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Polk Audio UltraFit 2000 Headphones - White/Orange (ULTRAFIT 2000ORG) (Electronics) Sound quality is excellent, the only complaint would be the snug fit around ear that can cause minor discomfort. The multiple ear pads are great, a rubber one for working out in, a traditional foam and an on the ear studio version as I like to call it (looks to go over the ear of an infant but sits on top of adults) plus has a nice soft case that is mesh so it will dry out if sweaty. Impressed by Polk yet again.
