What can I say, this is a Pelican case, and while expensive is worth every penny for protecting equipment that is much more expensive than the case. The outer shell is a solid polymer that is resistant to scuffs, dings, drops and general abuse. The "pick and pluck" foam is easy to use and creates that level of customization that gives provides for a wide variety of uses. I would like to have seen the smaller pick & pluck squares in this case, rather than the larger ones but that was really a minor aspect in my application.

These cases are air and watertight great for transporting anything you need. I used this case for our LS9 Yamaha mixing console. The removable foam and layers make it prefect to safely carry everything we need in one case (power cord, patch cables etc.). As far as price goes, with Prime, the case cost me $20 more than dealer cost with shipping and Amazon had it in stock. It was here at my shop in two days exactly when I needed it.
