I fit two full size DSLRs, a 500mm F4L, 580EX flash, 70-200mm F2.8L, batteries, cards, etc. Everything is custom fit via the pick and pluck foam. Although not officially a carry-on size, it does fit in overhead bins and every time I've traveled I've had no issue carrying this on board. The built-in roller wheels added a lot of ease for navigating the airport. Highly recommend. This review is from: Pelican 1560 Case w/Foam (Black) (Electronics) I was very familiar with Pelican cases before I decide to purchase this model. At aircraft maintenance division we use this cases to transport very expensive aircraft parts. This case did meet my expectations, and I highly recommend for any one that really have a need to carry very sensitive equipment. In my case, I purchase it to protect my telescope ,equatorial mount, and some of the eyes pieces.
